MacDonald - F4WC During the week of 4/9 Dept. 246 HC1 Off-gas was scrubbed using the C/S acid scrubber in Dept. 217. The scrubbed gas was drowned in water and sewered. Operation conditions during this period were: Dept. 246 - Running 50% of capacity C/S Acid Scrubber - 50 gallops C/S Acid Drowning Water - 70 GPM well water Ssimples of the sewered aqueous HC1 were collected and the analyses are presented below. Samples of the C/S acid were collected just prior to changing and analyzed for % assay.
