Today, Governor Rick Scott signed Executive Order 17-305 calling a Special Election for District 39 of the Florida House of Representatives. The Special Election for District 39 is in response to the resignation of Representative Neil Combee. A Special Primary Election will be held on February 20, 2018, and a Special Election will be held on May 1, 2018, based on requested dates by the Supervisors of Elections in Osceola and Polk Counties.
