Area SuO/ect February 4, 1987 EM&TS - HS&EA Industrial Hygiene Asbestos Exposure Monitorinq - Non Abatement Attached are the results of the Asbestos exposure monitoring performed on 4 pipefitters. These employees are not involved with Asbestos abatement, but were monitored to determine exposure levels during routine pipefitting, in areas where Asbestos is present. The exposure monitoring results indicate that all samples were well below the 0.1 fibers/cc Action Level, established by OSHA for an 8-hour workday (TWAg). However, all pipefitters must continue to follow established procedures closely. Please notify S. H. French, P. S. Shamblin, P. M. Wallace and L. C. Kinnard of their exposure monitoring results as soon as possible. Please have them sign and date this report and return to M. A. Patel at Building 701-330.
