Dutch Boy Nalprep is a surface conditioner -- for use as a first coat on weathered or porous stucco, con crete or masonry surfaces where penetration of the old paint film is necessary to assure adequate adhesion. Proper surface preparation is a very important factor in the successful painting of exterior stucco, con crete or masonry. Surfaces to be painted should be suit ably cleaned to remove any foreign material and all loose or scaling paint. Patch surface blemishes and fill large cracks with a suitable patching compound. On unpainted surfaces, and on surfaces where the paint is less than a year old and in good condition, Dutch Boy Nalprep usually won't be needed. Just pre pare the surface (see preceding paragraph) and apply Dutch Boy Naldrete. /^ Previously painted surfaces which have weath ered for a year or more should be cleaned to remove loose chalk, and any loose or scaling paint. Then ap ply Nalprep to condition the surface -- and follow with Dutch Boy Nalcrete. Coarse or pitted surfaces, such as cinder block, should be coated with Dutch Boy Block-Fill.
