It is our understanding that an employee of our Avon Lake chemical plant has been diagnosed as having angiosarcoma of the liver, discovered in a recent medical examination. Tests have been completed. The employee is still hospitalized. We are not prepared to discuss details of the illness since this is a private matter between the patient, his family and the attending physician. (We can't mention the employee's name or additional information which might identify him. It has been Goodrich policy that we don't release personal medical information.
