Afteh considehable R & V and testing wohk, we have finally accomplished this. In fact, we developed a phoduct which is fah supehioh to both lithahge and agents such as Thoykyd Eveh-Vhi. Even in exthemely Aeve^te cases such as cahbon-black paints, and ohganic beds, it was considehably betteh than the old stand-bys. Troykyd PERMA-DRY is a lead free replacement for litharge, Troykyd Ever-Dri, and other materials used to overcome loss of dry. It should be used in all paints where loss of dry could develop on storage. USE: The amount of Troykyd PERMA-DRY required to prevent loss of dry on aging of a paint will depend on the particular pigment vehicle system. High tone carbon black pigments will gener ally require the highest levels of Troykyd PERMA-DRY. Most paints will need 1-5 lbs. per 100 gallons of paint. * The amount to bo used in whites should he kept to the minimum / ^necessary to achieve drying stability (approx. 1-2 lbs. per 100 gals.). Excessive amounts may cause some graying, due / to the high levels of cobalt and cerium metals present. Or ganic Reds and Carbon-Black paints nay require 4-5 lbs. per 100 gals. Troykyd PERMA-DRY will occasionally act to accelerate dry. An adequate level of anti-skinning agent should be used. STORAGE: Since this paste will tend to thicken at lower temperatures, handling will be facilitated by keeping Troykyd PERMA-DRY in an area over 60F.
