Dear Bob:
Thanks very much for the pipe and the data sheets. In the rush since my return I have not yet had time to write up the complete paper covering our observations at Wilmington and will In any event have to wait until we get the remainder of the data sheets on the negroes which you still presumably have, In the meantime we are getting the analytical data together and we might to advantage let the whole matter ride until X come to Wilmington in January when we can write it up together*
As you have probably noted in the copy of the memorandum sent you, I made our conclusions a,.little more foroeful than we had them when they were first drawn up.
As mentioned before,Joe Stechsr. is very anxious to bay some kind of rtmning record kep at the lead Plants and ' suggested during our m e e t i ^ in Wilmington thht you and I get together as soon as possible and draw up some type of plan for a running record tobe kept at Wilmington and Baton Bouge, X believe^ the findings 'that are the best indication of the status of the workmen have emerged rather clearly from the study so far. From a practical point of view, some of these will lend themselves better to month-to-month tabulation than others will; accordingly, If you have any ideas on this from, the point of view of medical management and record keeping, if you will jot them down, we can go over them and meet wit h Joe in January.
With best regards for the Season, I am
Cordially yours
