C. 20210 USDL -- 75-418 FOR RELEASE: IMMEDIATE Monday, July 28, 1975 OSHA ADVISORY GROUP ON ASBESTOS IN CONSTRUCTION TO MEET AUG. 13-14 The U.S. Department of Labor's Subcommittee on Asbestos of the Advisory Com mittee on Construction Safety and Health will meet Aug. 13-14 in San Francisco. The group will discuss revision of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) general industry safety and health asbestos standards that would protect construction workers. The meetings, open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m. each day, ir, Room 9022, Federal Office Building, 450 Golden Gate Ave. Written presentations (in 20 copies) concerning the use and hazards of asbestos in the construction industry may be sent by Aug. 6 to Jay Arnoldus, Committee Management Office, OSHA, U. S. Department of Labor, Room N-3633, 3rd St. and Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, D. C. 20210. Requests to appear before the committee, including names and addresses of presenters, their positions, short summaries of presentations, and time needed, must be submitted to the OSHA Committee Management Office by Aug. 6.
