I told them that you've had long experience both at and with EPA, and know the Agency as well as anyone. I'd appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding the OX513A mosquito and how it's being handled at OPP. There are some unfortunate policy positions that are being contemplated that are unnecessary based on the demonstrated safety and efficacy of this product. These positions are not compelled by the regulations, are contrary to the intent of FIFRA, and likely will have the effect of significantly delaying approval of this vital tool that will help safeguard public health.
