Note the variation of the samples. The personal sample BCS #2 and the area sample BCS #5 have asbestos concentrations significantly higher than the other personal samples. These two exceed the action level requiring medical examination for employees exposed 7 to 8 hours per day according to the Bell System "Guidelines For the Evalu ation and Control of Exposure to Asbestos." I see all the samples were taken at the same time. Were the workers all doing the same type of work in the same area? Employees working several hours in this environment (inside the hung ceiling) could get an excessive asbestos exposure. Asbestos Air Con.
