The relatively lower amount for 2008 is for data analysis that is based on the laboratory work and, moreover, for data analysis for the other (non laboratory) investigators who begin their major analysis after all of the cases are accrued (ie, beginning the end of 2007). In addition there is a budget item for 2008 for laboratory transition to keep the laboratory functional as it completes the consortium sponsored work and moves toward independence of the consortium.
