Sixth -CommonwealthMining Congress.
Thos.Cook & Son have now' submitted an itinerary covering the proposed overseas trip of Mr.Thoma in Septanber.
We are enclosing a cony of this itinera for your comment, which if found acceptable will be adoDted and Cook's asked to finalise all details of air travel and accommodation*
It is understood that all charges for t* Congress and the necessary travel accounts to and from Canad, can be paid through the above firm in Australian currency an< it appears to us that this would be the simplest method to
adopt. With this in mind, ve propose to `forward the
Congress account to Cook's in order that one composite acooui
can be submitted.
It is also necessary to approach the
Exchange Control ibr a special dollar allocation oovering personal expenses and costs of accommodation and travel not included in the Congress itinerary, and we consider Cook's may handle this matter whilst attending to "other details.
An early reply would be appreciated in order that further details may be finalised.
