ZONOLITE DIVISION W. R. GRACE & CO. INTEROFFICE CORRESPONDENCE WRG GOO! -A L January 7. 1965 t R. A. Bleich_______________________at_____________ Libby____________ Fmm J. A. Kelley_____________________ at_____________ Chicago__________ I appreciate what you have done in writing up the dust situation at Libby but I am very disappointed to see all these reports on the State of Montana's inspection and to realize that I have never seen any. Let us please understand something very definitely and clearly, and I want you to write me telling me that you do understand and that you will comply. We are not going to operate this business in a vacuum. What happens at Libby is important for me to know and I expect to be informed on anything that comes in from any governmental body no matter how large or how small, and I expect it to be done promptly. Not only do I expect to get a copy and to know what is going on but I expect you to tell me what you are going to do about it and I expect you to follow regularly so that I know that it is being done. It is Earl Lovick's job to act as assistant to you and to handle such matters - and promptly. Let's make a New Year's resolution that we are going to keep namely, that we are going to get on the ball and do things when we are supposed to and not get behind in what needs to be done. Sincerely, JAK:pf cc: E. D. Lovick Kelley
