Many insulations contain no asbestos but are dusty and fibroua. Insulations containing silica, although less^^g toxic, can cause silicosis and chronic lung disease.
COMMENT NO. 2 - In paragraph 2.2, spray asbestos for insulation and fireoofing should be added as this is discharged directly from a hose to
the atmosphere. Contractors sometimes do this work at Plant sites and adequate isolation of the area is advisable.
