Mudd J June 4, 1974 I talked vlch Mr. Robert Knarr of OSHA on June 3, 1974, concerning the Vinyl Chloride exposure date obtained at the Ashtabula Riant. This data along with that obtained by our laboratory in a tunery report of the >-29-74 Inspection Is attached. Although one of his results was above the taaporary standards (S3 ppm) he feels that this Is within the tast deviation and does not plan to Issue a citation. When asked as to how our results compare with the other companies Inspected, It was stated that we were about the same as Roblntak and better than Uniroyal (Uniroyal was cited). Unofficially, Mr. Inart stated that he thought vs were very well updated on standards and making every effort to comply. He was particularly Impressed with out laboratory techniques, standards, and approaches to obtaining reliable deta.
