Standard oil immersion and optical staining techni ques were used for asbestos identification. The Interim Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (40 CFR Part 763, Appendix A, Subpart F) was used. Envirotest, Inc. is a National Institute of Standards and Technology NVLAP-accredited laboratory (#1595) for asbestos analysis.
