At the present time, we are In real difficulty with Devonport Dockyard who use large quantities of asbestos d o t h as oertaln of the engineers there have put a ban, temporary we hope, on the usage of asbestos. Admiralty officials are visiting us next week In an endeavour to resolve this matter which could be quite serious for T.B.A. We have not heard of any alteration by I.C.I. to their Instruction Issued some time ago that alternative materials to asbestos were to be considered wherever possible."
