Wevodau, Jr. Engineering Department Wllmington - L 13W26 GROUMD LEVEL C-8 COMCBNTRATIONS DOWHWIMD OF TEPLOM EXHAUST STACKS As per our telephone conversation on 4/8/81, please determine eight-hour time-weighted average C-8 concentrations at various distances downwind of C-8 emission sources under the most detrimental weather conditions. Significant C-8 emission sources at Washington Works are as follows: FEP BUILDING 163 Wet finishing baghouse exhaust Coagulator- baghouse exhaust (These sources are approximately 53 feet apart -- see attached map.) TFE - BUILDING- 162 No. 2 fine powder dryer exhaust No. 3 fine powder dryer exhaust (These sources are approximately 42 feet apart -- see attached map.' PEP sources are approximately 555 feet west of TPE sources.) The data you requested are included in Table 1. Notice that for the TPE C~8 sources, 3 separate sets of conditions will exist at various times. Therefore, calculations should be made for each set of conditions.
