This prohibits us from using the low cost annual volume rates and results in additional freight charges of about $35 per car. To avoid paying the excess freight charge, it is necessary that you get Shell to issue corrected bills of lading for all shipments to reflect Conoco as the shipper. Please have Shell send copies of the corrected bills of lading to G. R. Watson. In view of the problems we have had recently with our VCM suppliers, I would like to remind you that each VCM supplier should be instructed to follow the procedures outlined on G. R.
