The National Lime Association (NLA) would be greatly honored if you would accept our invitation to be the keynote speaker at our upcoming annual meeting in at the Westin Galleria in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, June 13. Our annual meeting brings together about 200 participants, including Board members and environmental and health and safety professionals in the lime industry.
NLA is a trade association that represents U S. and Canadian commercial lime companies, as well as suppliers to the lime industry. NLA's members produce more than 98% of domestic lime valued at over $2 billion annually. Lime is an integral ingredient in many other manufacturing processes and industries. It is an important part of the steel manufacturing process, road building, and the creation of other building products like mortar and plaster. Lime is also integral in environmental compliance of many industries, as it is used to purify water, scrub pollutants from air stack emissions, and neutralize acid mine drainage.
