Introduction: A l l g h t yellow l i q u i d labeled CS-2151 and a l i g h t yellow s o l i d labeled CS-2070 were received from V. Pothapragada November 18, 1980. The CS-2070/2151 was p a r t i t i o n e d between water and n-octanol t o determine the distribution, -E x p e r l m e n t a 1 : CS-2151 uas d l l u t e d w i t h water t o give a concentration o f CS-2070 o f 10yg/ml o f d l s t i l l e d water. Equal a l i q u o t s o f t h i s sample and prc-mter s a t u r a t e d n-octanol (99+% Aldrich) were shaken slowly f o r 8 hours, t h e n allowed t o stand f o r 24 hours. The phases were separated and analyzed f o r t o t a l orgairic f l u o r i n e by atomic absorption (1 ). Standard was made u s i n g CS-2070 i n water and in n-octanol t o match m a t r l x and rccoverles, CS-2070 i s so'lublc i n n-octanol. BACK TO MAIN M. T.
