Sandstedt In looking over your specifications for the above system,! hope you have included a sampling point for G.C. analysis of the effluent stream from the unit. As you are aware, the Bendix Gas Chromatographs are set to alarm at 5ppm level with capability of lppm alarm level. Since the VCM level from the carbon adsorption unit will be below lOppm and possibly at 5ppm the use of a plant G.C. point will be in alarm state. To modify one or two points from a particular G.C. can be done with some elec tronic modifications. However, this may confuse plant personnel. Therefore VCM levels should be monitored from a separate G.C. source. This situation is for both Burlington and Flemington. Please forward as soon as possible the condensate loading from the unit designed for Flemington and the case studies of carbon adsorption for Burlington. ES: gm COLOR!TE 017528
