The escape paks are not to be used to work in. They are self-contained breathing apparatuses for escape only from environments immediately dangerous to life or health. We discussed the Half- and Full-Facepiece, Twin-Cartridge Respirator. These respirators are to be worn when working on a low concentrated area only. We discussed the chemicals that are to be used in each unit and the personal protective equipment that will be worn while working in units.
