Thank you very much for your reply (on 18th Aug., Fax and Letter) to our request (on 21th Jun.) for the arrangement of the meeting, EPA and D.I.C. We, D.I.C., would like to arrange a meeting with you, EPA, to discuss the issue of PFOS on 15th Sept. 2000 in Washington DC, if it'll be possible. Place and time, leaveing to your option. Sorry to say, Mr. Ehara (President of Additives & Chemicals Div.) of D.I.C., should not be able to visit EPA because of his urgent duty in this time. As representatives of D.I.C., I, Msanobu Yumoto (Technical Group Mnager of Fluoro-Specialty Chemicals), and Dr. Taku Kitamura (Senior Manager of the Environment, Safety and Quality Div.) would like to attend that meeting, above. I would appreciate it if you would arrange an occasion in which we can discuss about PFOS issue with you. Also, if you would prefer another date, please let us know.
