The samples were analyzed for asbestos fiber in the form of tremolite, and your time weighted average (T.W.A.) was determined to be 2.11 fibers per cubic centimeter of air (f/cc) for the 6 hour time period that you were sampled for. Based on previous sampling done at the bagging and loading facility, we would expect your normal 8 hour T.W.A. to be less than the 2.0 f/cc standard for asbestos fiber exposure set by MSHA. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS DIVISION W. R. Grace and Co. cc: W. J. McCaio Mark S. Murphy Asst.
