The scope of the inspection was to determine if the facility is in compliance with the CWA, and to identify and document unauthorized discharges of produced wastewater (brine) to a water of the United States. FACILITY DESCRIPTION There was a sign indicating that this facility is currently owned by JnK Energy and is the Jennings "D" lease. I observed one oil storage tank, one separator, and one produced water storage tank on site. This facility had two inactive tanks as well. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed that there were no berm walls or secondary containment on site. I observed vegetation within two feet of tanks. I did not observe any spills or staining near the tank battery. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN There was inadequate secondary containment and vegetation at the facility. Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA Region 6 Water Enforcement will refer this facility to EPA Region 6 SPCC program.
