Y December 5, 1931 Dr, R. A. Kehoe College of Medicine University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio Dean Dr, Kehoe: Thanks veiy much for your letter of December 1. Tie have just received a letter from Mr. Lienhard telling of further tests. The tests in question were repeated using gasoline colored red but containing no tetraethyl lead. The medical officer in charge was aware in advance that these tests were being made. The men showed the same symptoms as they did in the first case, and the staff physician who examined them diagnosed the case as lead poisoning! Mr. Lienhard writes that after this experience nobody discusses lead poisoning with him. I judge that the matter is new? on a satisfactory footing and that we will have no more immediate trouble from this source. Kindest personal regards to yourself and Mrs. Kehoe, believe me. GE ML P. S. Nancy's arm should come out of its cast t'riis week end. She has gotten along very well and has not seemed to mind the cast at all.
