The other is a copy of "Electrified Industry," July, 1967 containing a 2-page picture article, beginning on page 30, entitled "Time-And Money-Saving IDEAS to Cut Handling Costs." July 19, 1967 AMERICAN ZINC INSTITUTE and LEAD INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION Allowance for the Use of Personal Cars on Company Business Dear Mr. For a long time, the American Zinc Institute and Lead Industries Association have allowed 9^ per mile plus tolls and parking for the use of personal cars on company business. This is not a large item with any of us (with only one exception and that, infrequently). Heavy mileage is handled through the use of company cars - three in Detroit, one in Lafayette. The American Automobile Association says *13*6^ a mile seems closer to reality*. I believe ve should operate under a good industry average; hence, the purpose of this letter is to inquire -- what is your company's allowance on this matter? Thanks in advance for your comment.
