Kitzmiller, vho> talked with you some days ago concerning your oatient, Mr. Welch. I enclose herewith a copy of the analytical results obtained on the samples which you forwarded to us. As you will note, both results are well within normal limits, being actually somewhat below the average values found in normal persons with no occupational or otherwise unusual exposure to lead compounds. I take it from Dr. Kitzmiller*s notes that this will not surprise you. In my opinion it excludes any possi bility that lead absorption was a factor in Mr. Welch's illness . Very truly yours.
