These are tabulated in such a way as to make comparison with former results. There is nothing in those results which indicates any considerable amount of danger to the person concerned. There is definite evidence of lead absorption, and what concerns me somewhat is the fact that in most cases there is evidence of a gradual increase in lead excretion, which means a correspond ing increase in absorption* For this roason I think we should take warning, and keep a very sharp eye out. I shall expect to see you some time with in the next few vreeks and look over the situation, es pecially in the smelting area. I believe that even now these facts should be brought to the attention the management in order that they may make all haste in bringing about the completion of changes which have been contemplated for some time. - I should appreciate very much receiving the histories and physical examination, in the cases of the last six men on whom I havo no records.
