AFFIDAVIT PLAINTIFFS EXHIBIT WCD-218 Frank Wathen, being duly sworn, states as follows: 1. I am the duly elected Secretary o f Southern Talc Company, a Georgia corporation ("Southern Talc"). 2. Inmy capacity as Secretary of SouthemTalc, I am the custodian of the business records o f Southern Talc. 3. Attached to this Affidavit are copies o f seven pages which were submitted to me for authentication by the law firm o f Bevan & Economus. 4. At my direction, the seven pages that are attached to this Affidavit have been compared to the business records of Southern Talc o f which I am the custodian. 5. Some o f the seven pages are not complete copies o f the business records o f Southern Talc, because some o f the information in the business records was blocked when the copies were made. However, the information on the seven pages that was not blocked is an accurate copy of the information that appears in the business records. 6. Also, the seven pages contain telecopy transmittal markings and court reporter's exhibit notations that do not appear on the business records from which the copies were made. 7. Subject to paragraphs 5 and 6 above, the seven pages attached to this Affidavit are complete and accurate copies o fdocuments which are held among the business records o f Southern Talc.
