Dr. George Calingaert. The Ethyl Corporation, I60 Vest Eight Mile Road, Ferndale 2U, Detroit, Mich.
.
Dear Cal:
The question about the handling of requests for Ethyl Fluid
in the Detroit Laboratory has come up again. Go far as you
and I are concerned, I think there is complete understanding
and that no difficulties trill arise. However, I am not
-
certain that others in responsible positions in the Detroit T
Laboratory follow the same procedure that is indicated in
your memorandum of March 12, 19^5> to myself and Mr. Kaley.
I do not wish to take any steps in this matter without
your advise, but I would appreciate knowing whether you have
knowledge of all shipments of this type made under the
authority of the Detroit Laboratory. More specifically, I
should like to know whether Bartholomew and Heron may send
Fluid to people who are working with them collaboratively or
to other groups or agencies, and whether they follow the same
procedure that you have agreed to. On receipt of your infor
mation I shall know how to proceed further if necessary.
Sincerely yours,
RAK ef
