RE: Circular Economy Meeting on Metals and Clean Energy mardi 28 juin 2022 11:18:00 image001.gif
Dear ,
Thank you for your e-mail and request for a meeting with Ms Helena Braun. We would be pleased to propose you a slot for a video-call on 6 September at 11:00. Regrettably, an earlier slot would not be possible due to heavy agenda constraints. Would it be that slot also suitable on your side? If not, please kindly feel free to propose some suitable for you options.
Thank you kindly in advance.
Best regards,
European Green Deal

Subject: Fwd: Circular Economy Meeting on Metals and Clean Energy Dear Helena,
I'm just following-up on the below email, to check your availability for a followup meeting where we can share the outcomes from our KU Leuven Metals for Clean Energy Study (attached), focussed on your circular economy and chemicals
priorities + answering questions you have.
We can also make the link with ongoing files relevant to raw materials (i.e. waste legislation, discussions on classifying the lithium compounds in batteries, the REACH review)
This had been suggested when we talked with
and your colleagues last
week. Please let us know if/when you'd be available for such a discussion.

Following our meeting with
and colleagues on Wednesday,
we would be pleased to meet you separately to present in more
detail on the Circular Economy conclusions from KU Leuven's
Metals for Clean Energy study, as well as the links with EU
chemicals legislation (this was suggested during the meeting).
Please let us know if you have any available slots in the next weeks
for a meeting (either in-person or digitally).

Subject: Follow-up: Meeting on Metals and Clean Energy
Dear
,
Thanks again for yesterday's rich discussion on KU Leuven's Metals for Clean Energy report.
As discussed, we will follow-up separately with Helena to set-up a dedicated meeting focused on the circular economy and chemicals aspects of the report.
I attach again yesterday's slides and the policymaker summary of full report. Please also find attached a data-backed answer
to one of your questions in the meeting about whether there will be a continued long-term market for EU-mined metals in addition to fast growing recycled supply after 2040. This includes some deeper analysis from KU Leuven's study to answer that question more precisely.
In case of any further questions on this subject, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
Best,
