That th is la rg e r q u a n tity of lead is n o t due to a l a r g e r q u a n tity o f f e c a l sam ple i s shown by th e fa c t th a t the lead concentration as expressed In m illig ram s p e r gram of fejeal a s h , i s a ls o a p p re c ia b ly h ig h e r than th a t seen In the case of American workmen. I have n o t taken th e time to C a lc u la te th e mean v alu e f o r the le a d in th e f e c a l samples or in r e la tio n to the ash co n ten t of the fe c e s.
