Industrial hygiene monitoring was conducted with your personnel during the BPA-4 Asbestos Removal Project. The purpose of the monitoring was to determine employee exposures to asbestos during piping insulation removal activities. As summarized in the Attachment, personal air sampling results were within the Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration (OSHA) permissible exposure limits. A review of the sampling data sheets indicated proper protective clothing and respiratory protection were worn by the employees during the monitoring period. According to the OSHA regulations you must communicate the report to the affected employees and I would encourage posting of the report in an area accessible to other similar craft personnel for their review also.
