Dear Dick:
Mr* Harland Morley, gasoline sales manager of the Kendall Refining Company, called me this morning to tell me about a case of lead poisoning. He said he was calling at the instance of Mr. J. B. Fisher, their president*
The story was that a dealer they had at Nunaa, New York, who worked at one of thd. r stations for about a year and a half, developed several open sores that refused to heal. His doctor diagnosed the case as lead poisoning and recommended that this dealer get out of the gasoline business to avoid contact with leaded gasoline in the future.
No trouble has arisen from this. The man had left the gasoline business end according to Mr. Morley he is not threatening any trouble of any kind. However, they felt that we might want to be informed of this be cause of this doctor* 3 having blamed tetraethyl lead for the man * s condition.
Very truly yours.
