Hi Robert,
I cover the Renewable Fuel Standard for the Oil Price Information Service and have in the past dealt with Christie St. Clair. I see you're handling the issue for EPA now. I wanted to check on the status of the required triennial report examining the environmental impacts of biofuels production. As you know, the EPA IG's Office in August issued a report saying the agency had failed to meet congressional requirements that it complete such a report every three years. The last was completed in 2011. In response, EPA said it would finalize the study by Dec. 31, 2017. Was that deadline met and if so, where can I get a copy of the report? If not, can you tell me when the agency believes it will be finished?
