EPA ED_001523B_00006674-00001 My firm is working with Intrexon (Oxitec) on several issues but most notably their genetically modified mosquito which has great relevance to the Zika crisis. We have been working with Luke Holland in Sen. Inhofe's office in regard to requesting an opportunity for the Intrexon, CEO RJ Kirk, to meet with the Administrator. I am not sure of the status of that request. I am copying Luke (who has been terrific) in order to coordinate. Below are the dates that would work for Mr. Kirk. Dates that work: April 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19 (NOTE: On the 18th, the meeting would have to conclude by 230 Pm.) April 24-28 (NOTE: April 24-28, as of now these dates work, but there could be some potential conflicts.) May 3, 4, 5 (NOTE: May 5, the meeting would have to be early morning: 8 to 10 am (10 am hard stop)) Most ideal dates b/ RJ will be in DC: Late afternoon on May 9 Until 1 pm hard stop on May 10 All day until 3:30 PM hard stop on May 11 All day on May 12 On a separate track, I have been working with John Tegeris (OS/ASPR/BARDA) at HHS on organizing an interagency meeting to discuss how we can properly move this technology to field trials in a timely manner.
