Kehoe: Your letter has greatly perturbed me, since ray respect for the work that has been done by you or under your leadership should be above suspicion. I always have quoted and shall quote in the future the outstanding papers mentioned in your letter whenever they deal with our problems. I take the full responsibility for the fact that the references have been omitted from Dr, Robinson's paper, since he had listed them and I took than out. The only reason for my doing this was the necessity to limit the discussion, and hence the references, to the simple subject of normal lead levels in infants and children.
