Auburn Dean of University Administration University of Cincinnati Dear Mr. Auburn: I forward to you herewith four copies (two typed in this office in order to supply one copy to the Dean and one for our own files) of an agreement between the University and E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. The form of the agreement as returned to me from du P o n t 's legal department is in substantial accordance with the proposed agreement which was fur nished to them, but which they have rephrased and rearranged in some respects. It is, in my opinion, acceptable in all respects, and it formulizes an agreement which has been subject to some discussion between myself and du Pont executives for some months. I trust that it will meet with the approval of the Board, and if there are any questions concern ing it, I shall be pleased to answer them as well as I can. In Dr. D o r s t 's absence from his office, I am sending these directly, but I shall supply his office with a copy of this letter and a copy of the agreement tVl due course.
