The Michigan Department of Health requires that any exhaust system used to collect in-plant air contaminants must be discharged to the outside of the plant If the collected components In the stack effluent exceed ten per cent of their Threshold Limit Value. Based on the asbestos present In the samples collected, va find that excessive levels of dust are recirculated Into the plant workroom atmosphere by the present collector system.
