For the record, both Danville Works and Elizabeth Works have been requested to institute regular medical surveillance of those employees who have a work history of at least one year in operations or services involving risk of regular exposure to VCM. 2. They will follow the proposed regulations (CFR Part 1910.93 g Co) ) including such additional optional liver function tests as the plant physician may deem advisable. 3. All results of tests and their medical interpretation will be made available to the sampled employee and the record shall be maintained as required by the proposed regulations. 4. Baier Ext. 6159 2673 3930 The subject program will be a serum specimen for screening with respect to the following bio-chemical determinations of liver function: 1. serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) 2. gamma glutamyl transpeptidase (GGTP) 3. serum protien electrophoresis 4. platelet count If one or more liver function tests are abnormal, serum testing shall be repeated as soon as possible, preferably within two ( 2 ) to four ( 4 ) weeks.
