Field bent tube turns: 6.1 F.B.T.T. shall not be preformed. 6.2 The line covering adjacent to the lower end of a vertical bend or to the near end, of one installed horizontally, shall be applied prior to the miters on the bend. See figure 3# A. 6.3 The line covering shall-be stopped at the. starting point of the ac of the bend and the end shall be cut square to the pipe. See figure 3# A. 6.4 The miters shall then be applied. The last one shall be stopped at the end of the arc and it shall be cut square to the straight pipe.
