The main problem STL-D enver has been experiencing is related to soils APPO extraction performance. Its my understanding they have spent a great deal of time dealing with this issue and now have only reached a point where the extraction quality control criteria meet our expectations (which are very high). Anyway, early next w eek STL should be submitting the quality control results from the method development work (i,e,, the Williamstown boat ramp 3 strata samples) to us. Provided this information meets our needs (and it should), they will then be able to begin the LHW A soil sample prep/extractions and analytical runs. If all goes well, we may have draft results the week of Feb..24, The draft results will then be Quality reviewed by our C -8 analytical team. If approved, the lab will issue the results as final, possibly the week of March 3. W e have our LHW A investigation report mostly complete, with the exception of the soil data. I would expect that we can turn-around the final report approximately 10 days after the final analytical results are received, I'm hoping around March 14. I will give you another update in person next week at the G IST meeting.
