Hamer Mr. J. W. Ford Mr. W. C. Bivans Reference is made to your letter of November 5 to Mr. Werner on the above subject. This material was to be available at 11 duty paid f.o.b. dock, New York or Philadelphia. Through Jesse S. Young Co. Inc. at ll per pound as noted above the material would be $11.70 a pound in the formula. Adjusting for r7 proper zinc content with W-33 we find that the cost would be yfy'A $12.33 per 100 lbs. as compared to $12.53 per 100 lbs. for W-249. This would reflect a cost saving in Y-1S00 of 66 per 100 gallons in a 2200 gallon batch. We do not think that this cost saving would be sufficient to support the testing that would be necessary to approve this material in our National House Paint products. JPHjek J. P. HARNER GLD34593
