D EP AR TM EN T OF H EALTH P. . BOX 9 0 HARRI SBURG October lU, 1959 R. A. Kehoe, M.D. College of Medicine University of Cincinnati Cincinnati 19, Ohio Dear Dr. Kehoe: Thank you for forwarding me a copy of your letter to Mr. W. A. Pavlo of Price Battery Company, Hamburg. We have worked with this plant for several years and have accomplished quite some improvements. The plant has hired a physician who has, by now, gained some knowledge in the handling of patients with lead poisoning. For a while they were one of our worst offenders and while there is still room for a lot of improvement they have certainly made quite some progress. This is also confirmed by the fact that they have accepted my suggestion and written to you. If you are going to provide consultation services for the plant and would like to discuss the past history of the plant with us we shall be glad *to do so.
