`I am requesting that Headquarters Industrial Hygiene inform us of the procedure to sample the Workplace and employe's breathing zone to insure that we are in compliance with O.S.H.A. The sampling program will be based on a limit of two airborne fibers per cubic centimeter, the asbestos exposure level that becomes effective July 1, 1976.
The corporate Industrial Hygiene and Safety Department is also concerned
about the impact of the July 1, 1976 standard, the proposed asbestos
standard and have scheduled a one day asbestos seminar for March 5 1976
at the Pittsburgh Marriott Motor Inn.
-
Attached find the correspondence concerning the asbestos seminar and a questionnaire to be completed for the asbestos products used in your diivislon. Please have the questionnaire completed as soon as possible and return to me for delivery to Headquarters Industrial Hygiene.
