This standard as originally proposed would require written notice to EPA prior to the beginning of each and every major renovation operation involving asbestos, obviously placing an administrative burden and creating a delay in turn around for maintenance. Our comments and EPA's response are shown. The standard was published reflecting these changes. This is not a major item but it should give us enthusiasm to continue to comment.
