Please note that we are required to update our report at least every three years. Since the first BE report covering calendar year 2019-2020 was submitted in December 2021, we are scheduled to submit information and figures* for the period 2021-2024 before the end of December 2024. We would like to submit an update of our report in December 2023 (2 years after the submission of our 1st report) as we have new data available on controls addressing the placing on the market and on the update of our NIP addressing COP 8 and 9 amendments. There is no deadline as such for the update of the MS reports but according to the Art. 13, MS shall update the report annually as far as new data or information is available and otherwise at least every three years. FYI, our previous report was submitted on Dec 2021 for the period 2019-2020. ECHA will then generate the pdf versions of the updated national reports for their publication in ECHA webpage. ECHA understands that the reports are to be published by the Member States following the same Article of the POPs Regulation. In addition, ECHA also wishes to make these reports available to the general public on its internet website. For that purpose, we ask that you provide us with the agreement of your Competent Authority to do so. As ECHA does not have the competence to make decisions on confidentiality of the information contained in the individual report under the POPs Regulation, we at the same time ask you to confirm that the report the Belgium Competent Authority prepared and provided to ECHA does not contain any confidential information other than the information already clearly marked as confidential for the following fields: - Stockpile holder. Name of the legal entity that has notified the stockpile (Part A in worksheet 2. This change in the reporting format has also been incorporated in your corresponding excel file report, which is available in S-CIRCA BC in the location indicated above.
