the collection el general information, you would be contributing:

AI Gassmann,s report on the Joint Industry Conference on Atmos
pheric Pollution which was held in Detroit on July 31* As you
may note, the chairmanship is under Mr, L. A. Danse of the G M
Production Engineering Section, and G M Is apparantly quite
active in this move. You are also aware that Charlie Gambrill
has attended the Air Pollution sessions on the West Coast last
Hay and he is presently on the API committee on methods of
analysis for atmospheric contamination

I would greatly appreciate your aid and guidance in
the matter of our participation in the Detroit area activities,
ana suggest that you may want to advise me and Mr. Gambrill as
to our next moves in the matter. It is quite possible that we
may be approached to contribute by manning a sampling station
in this area:
